THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOHN & VIOLET MUELLER SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Brooklyn Micheau and Logan Scharer. Each $1,675 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Micheau, of Erie, is a 2021 graduate of Mason Senior High School. She is studying general courses at MCCC to then further her education to become a veterinarian.  She is the daughter of Traci and Scott Micheau.

Scharer, of Monroe, is a 2017 Jefferson High School graduate. He is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Logan is the son of Doug and Kerrie Scharer. 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County, Mich. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher during their scholarship year.
