The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the JoAnn Naida LPN to RN Nursing Scholarship to Danielle Stacey and Whitney Morgan. Each $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Stacey, of Monroe, is a 2011 graduate of Southgate Anderson High School, Southgate, Michigan. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Danielle is the daughter of Daniel and Katherine Stacey.
Morgan, of Carleton, is a 2005 graduate of Allen Park Community High School. She is pursuing a nursing degree at MCCC and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa. Whitney is the daughter of Vernon Moss and Tammy Holcomb.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year nursing student enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program, a Monroe County, Michigan, resident and have a 3.3 grade point average or higher.
