THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JACOBS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Jacobs Engineering Technology Scholarship to Jacqueline Pacheco and Ashley Thompson. Each $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Pacheco, of Carleton, is a 2004 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying construction management while attending MCCC. Pacheco is the mother to Maggie and Lexie Wheating and daughter to Delphine and Larry Pacheco.

Thompson photoThompson, of Monroe, is a 2009 graduate of Monroe High School. She is taking core classes at MCCC to then transfer to a university and enter a land surveying program. Ashley is the daughter of Tammy Thompson and the late James Cupp.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree from any program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division with preference given to a second-year student and must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
