THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE IRV LOCKETZ CULINARY SCHOLARSHIP

Lambert photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Irv Locketz Culinary Scholarship to McKenzie Lambert. The $2,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees books and supplies.

Lambert, of Dundee, is a 2020 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying culinary skills and management while attending MCCC. McKenzie is the daughter of Greg and Shari Lambert.

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be enrolled and accepted in the Culinary Arts and Foodservice Education program at MCCC, must submit a one-page essay on why the applicant should be selected to receive the scholarship and must be enrolled in a minimum of eight credit hours per semester in the fall and winter. Financial need may be considered.
