The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship to Nathan Whiteside. The $2,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Whiteside, of Monroe, is a 2018 homeschool graduate. He is currently studying manufacturing technology at MCCC. Nathan is the son of Delia and Ernest Whiteside.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree or certificate in any Applied Science and Engineering Technology division program.
