THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE DR. GERALD L. HOWE SCHOLARSHIP

Wilke photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Gerald L. Howe Scholarship to Makenna Wilke. The $1,050 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Wilke, of Temperance, is a 2020 graduate of Bedford High School. She is studying respiratory therapy while attending MCCC and is a member of the Respiratory Therapy Club. She volunteers at God Works! soup kitchen. Makenna is the daughter of Rusty and Stacey Wilke and sister to Brandon Sunday and Hannah Wilke.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health-related curriculum and must maintain full-time enrollment status. Additionally, a student must demonstrate community/school involvement and submit a letter of interest outlining their educational and career goals.
