THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE DAVID L. AND HARRIET WILLIAMS McINTYRE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Drouillard photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the David L. and Harriet Williams McIntyre Memorial Scholarship to Madyson Drouillard. The $2,950 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Drouillard, of La Salle, is a 2020 Monroe High School graduate. She is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC so she can work with those who have physical and intellectual disabilities.  She was a mentor for Positive Peer Influence and Student Prevention Leadership during high school.  Drouillard is also a youth leader at Elevate Church.  Madyson is the daughter of Leanda and Jason Drouillard.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe High School graduate, enrolled in a transfer curriculum and maintain a full-time enrollment status of at least 12 credit hours. To continue to receive this scholarship, the recipient must demonstrate continuing academic achievement of at least a 2.5 grade point average.
