The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Chad E. Nyitray Scholarship to Ciera Ely. The $1,350 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Ely, of Monroe, is a 2020 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying business at MCCC then will transfer to the University of Toledo to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Ciera is the daughter of Steve and Sherry Ely.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average, be enrolled full-time in a business-related curriculum and plan to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business. Additionally, a student must be a Monroe County or Washtenaw County resident.
