Monroe County Community College has awarded the Bonnie Finzel Doster Altrusa International of Monroe Scholarship to Jessica Hutson. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Hutson, of Monroe, is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. She is enrolled in the nuclear engineering technology program at MCCC and is a member of the Psychology Interest Group Club. Jessica is the daughter of Jeff Hutson and Donelda Kinne.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must present financial need, good academic standing, past or present community service and reside in Monroe County. Additionally, the applicant must be seeking education in order to return to the workforce.
