Donations to The Foundation at MCCC on Giving Tuesday will be doubled

This #GivingTuesday, November 30, 2021, The Foundation at Monroe County Community College will be participating once again in this global day of giving.

One thing that is new to this year's cyber event, donors can double their gift with a unique Challenge Match opportunity. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous Foundation at MCCC Board member, the first $10,000 in Giving Tuesday donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the value of donations. "This gift provides our supporters with the opportunity for the Foundation at MCCC to have a record-setting Giving Tuesday in 2021," said Dr. Joshua W. Myers, president of The Foundation at MCCC. Donations can be made online via The Foundation at MCCC's website at https://www.monroeccc.edu/foundation/givingtuesday.

In addition, gifts made to The Foundation at MCCC through Facebook on November 30 may be matched as well. To help raise awareness of charitable causes and encourage donors’ generosity, Facebook plans to match the first $8 million in qualifying donations made on Facebook after 8 a.m. during #GivingTuesday. Donors are encouraged to make their donations as early as possible at https://www.facebook.com/foundationatmccc.
