The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Terri McConnaughey Scholarship to Brittanie Bruck. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Bruck of Dundee is a 2019 homeschooled graduate. Bruck is taking general courses while attending MCCC and is a member of Writing Fellows and Phi Theta Kappa. She is a volunteer with her parish’s cleaning crew. Bruck is the daughter of Daniel and Bonnie Bruck.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be either serve as a MCCC Writing Fellow or be a staff member on the college’s student newspaper, The Agora, and be working part-time during their scholarship year, as defined by 15 hours per week. Preference will be given to a non-traditional age female student. Additionally, a student must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours per semester.
