The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Sonya Kay Brett Memorial Endowed Nursing Scholarship to Presly Kreps and Hannah Sautter. Each $1,600 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Kreps of La Salle is a 2017 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. She is the daughter of Penelope and Dean Kreps.
Sautter of Monroe is a 2017 graduate of Trenton High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Sautter is the daughter of Scott and Nichole.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year student in the Registered Nurse Program, a U.S. citizen and a Monroe County resident. Students must maintain a three-quarter-time enrollment which is defined as nine (9) credit hours.
