The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Ralph E. Mahalak Memorial Scholarship to Joshua Hutsko. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, book, fees and supplies.
Hutsko of Monroe is a 2010 graduate of Cooley High School, Detroit, Michigan. Hutsko will be studying automotive service technology while attending MCCC. He is a volunteer at Oaks of Righteousness and The Victory Village. He is the grandson of Sally and Neil Hutsko, father to Arya Hutsko and boyfriend of Brittany Hess.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year student pursuing an associate of applied science degree with a specialization in automotive service technology, be a Monroe County, Michigan resident, maintain a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average, and be a part-time student at MCCC during the scholarship year.
