The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Noel H. and Elizabeth R. Dentner Scholarship to Brayden Jewell. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Jewell of Petersburg is a 2020 graduate of Summerfield High School. He will be pursuing an education degree while attending MCCC. Jewell was a member of the National Honor Society, football, basketball, baseball and track teams while at SHS. Brayden is the son of Mike and Julie Jewell.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate from Summerfield High School, Petersburg, MI, have a 2.75 grade point average or higher, must maintain full-time enrollment and be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan.
