The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary L. and Edward P. Kehoe Scholarship to Celeste Milligan. The $1,050 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Milligan of La Salle is a 2019 Monroe High School graduate. She is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC then plans to continue her education to earn a bachelor’s degree in social work. Milligan recently competed in the Miss Monroe County Scholarship Pageant. Celeste is the daughter of Veronica and Ricky Jennings and Charlie and Michele Milligan.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be employed for 30 hours per week, and maintain a part-time student status defined as six credit hours. Preference will be given to a student with financial need.
