The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marvin and Jean Baumann Family Scholarship to Christopher Ball. The $1,400 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Ball of Temperance is a 1998 graduate of Sugar-Salem High School, Sugar City, Idaho. He is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member the National Student Nurses Association. Christopher is the husband to Lillyan and father to Zoe.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be pursuing a degree in an applied technology or health sciences occupational program at MCCC. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a resident of Monroe County, Mich., has a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and is enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours.
