The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marissa L. Presnell Memorial Scholarship to Alexandra Rimmer. The $1,000 scholarship is to cover costs of tuition, books and supplies.
Rimmer of Temperance is a 2018 graduate of Bedford High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. She is the daughter of Roman and Shelly Rimmer.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the MCCC nursing program and have completed the first semester of the program with a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average. Recipient must be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, a United States citizen, a graduate of Bedford High School, and enrolled at least part-time at MCCC.
