The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the 
Kimberly Reaume Memorial Scholarship to Arianna McNew. The $850 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
McNew of Newport is a 2017 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. She is the daughter of Kelly Shelton.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, maintain a 2.5 minimum grade point average, maintain a part-time enrollment status, defined as six credit hours, and be enrolled in the registered nursing program.
