The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship to David McNew. The $1,750 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
McNew of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Jefferson High School. He is studying cybersecurity and information assurance while attending MCCC. McNew is member of Phi Theta Kappa at MCCC. He is the son of Kristina and David.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain at least half-time enrollment status with six credit hours or more and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
