THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOHN & VIOLET MUELLER SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Kristina Barron and Hunter Lewis. Each $1,650 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Barron of Monroe is a 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying respiratory therapy while attending MCCC and is a member of the Respiratory Therapy Club.  She is the mother of Noah and daughter to Steven and April.

Lewis of Temperance is a 2014 Mason Senior High School graduate. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. She is the wife of Curtis, mother to Ayvah and daughter to Penny Lane and the late Stephen Lane, Jr.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County, Mich. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher during their scholarship year.
