The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Irma A. (McLaughlin) McIntyre Memorial Endowed Agriculture Scholarship to Grace Herkimer. The $900 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
Herkimer of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Ida High School. She is pursuing an associate of agriculture degree at MCCC. Herkimer has been involved with 4-H and Future Farmers of America programs. She is secretary for the MCCC/MSU Ag Club and a Monroe County Farm Bureau Collegiate member. Grace is the daughter of Jerry and Carol Herkimer.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the agriculture program at MCCC, be at least a part-time student, be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan and demonstrate financial need.
