The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Drew Reeves Memorial Scholarship to Tyler Gordon. The $950 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Gordon of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Mason Senior High School. His educational goal is to complete his associate degree specializing in automotive service technology at MCCC. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He has volunteered at Oaks of Righteousness. He is the son of Tammy and Silverio Conte and Thomas Gordon.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student qualified as the runner-up for the Instructional Scholarship in Automotive Engineering Technology and therefore, must meet all of the Instructional Scholarship eligibility requirements. The student must be enrolled full-time in the Automotive Engineering Technology Program and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Full-time enrollment is defined as 12 credit hours for the fall and winter semesters.
