The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the C.S. and Marion F. McIntyre Memorial Scholarship to Andrew Bucher. The scholarship of $950 is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Bucher of Petersburg is a 2020 graduate of Summerfield High School. He is studying business while attending MCCC. Bucher has been involved in his community helping with the annual Rose Run 5k, Summerfield’s Elementary physical education program and Dundee’s Victory Day. Andrew is the son of Michael and Jodi Bucher.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be enrolled in a transfer curriculum, maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, be a full-time student, defined as 12 credit hours per semester, and demonstrate financial need.
