The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Chad L. Stoner Medical Research Scholarship to Kristy Yoskovich. The $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Yoskovich of Belleville is a 2003 graduate of Huron High School, New Boston, Michigan. She is studying nursing at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Yoskovich is an active member in the United States Navy Reserve, National Funeral Directors Association and Women of the Moose. Kristy is the daughter of David Yoskovich and Lamora Riddell-Berry.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.2 and submit a one-page essay outlining the reason for his or her interest in medical research and ultimate career goals. To maintain the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and have a 3.0 grade point average.
