The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Brian Rothman Memorial Scholarship to Lucas Goins. The $850 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Goins of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Airport High School. He is pursuing a degree in cybersecurity while attending MCCC. Lucas is the son of Becky and Jeff Goins.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a Monroe County Community College student, pursuing a degree in computer information systems and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to Monroe High School graduates.
