The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the President Emeritus Dr. Ronald Campbell and Blondelle Campbell Scholarship to Julia DePelsmaeker. The $1,050 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
DePelsmaeker of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. She has volunteered at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital and Oaks of Righteousness. Julia is the daughter of Timothy and Annette DePelsmaeker.
To be eligible the student must be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, demonstrate academic excellence, and maintain at least a part-time enrollment at MCCC. Preference will be given to a student who is an active member of the MCCC Honor Society and demonstrates financial need.
