The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the 
Michael E. Newman Endowed Memorial Scholarship to Alexis Maciejewski. The $850 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Maciejewski of Maybee is a 2020 graduate of Dundee High School. She is studying fine arts at MCCC. Her school and community activities include Dundee Girls’ Choir, Dundee Descants, Dundee Chamber of Choir, Women’s Vocal Arts Representative, Monroe County Fine Arts Representative, Dundee Girl Scouts, Monroe County 4-H and is a member of St. Michael Church. She is the daughter of Robert and Jan Maciejewski.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a member of the Monroe County Community Credit Union, have and maintain a 2.8 grade point average or higher during the scholarship year, and maintain at least part-time enrollment, defined as six contact hours or more per semester. Financial need is also considered.
