THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS FORMER BEDFORD ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the M FreiheitFormer Bedford Rotarians and Friends Scholarship to Mia Freiheit. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Freiheit of Lambertville is a 2020 graduate of Bedford Senior High School. She is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC with plans to transfer to the University of Toledo and enter their pre-law program. Freiheit most recently participated in the Strive for a Safer Drive (S4SD) campaign and the Bus Safety campaign at BSHS. Mia is the daughter of David and Michelle Freiheit.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Bedford High School, first year student at MCCC, maintain fulltime enrollment while at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, present financial need, past or present community or public service and must perform 20 hours of community or public service during the scholarship year.
