The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Delta Kappa Gamma Society Scholarship to Asaad Ijaz. The $300 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Ijaz of Toledo is a 2019 graduate of Sylvania Southview High School, Sylvania, Ohio. He is pursuing an associate degree in respiratory therapy at MCCC. He is the son Dr. Ijaz Ahmed and Aneesa Ijaz.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show financial need and must maintain part-time enrollment status, defined as six credit hours or more.
