MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Hildreth C. Braunlich Memorial Scholarship to Jacob Close. The $2,600 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Close of Erie is a 2019 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central. He is undetermined of his major while attending MCCC. Close is on the Respect Life team and is involved at St. Joseph Erie Parish as a musical participant. Jacob is the son of Charles and Julie Close.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from St. Mary Catholic Central High School, have shown academic achievement, participated in student activities or community service and demonstrate financial need.
