The Foundation At MCCC Awards The Susan L. Lingar “A.G.” Memorial Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Susan L. Lingar “A.G.” Memorial Scholarship to John Wright. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees

Wright of Carleton is a 2019 graduate of Airport High School. He will be studying accounting while attending MCCC. Wright is an Eagle Scout and has recorded veterans’ stories for their personal use and if they choose to submission to the Veterans History Society. John is the son of Raymond Wright.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree in the accounting field, must be a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan, high school or completed a GED, be a Monroe County resident, and be a U.S. citizen. Additionally, students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and must maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours or more.
