MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Student Government Aim & Achievement Scholarship to Seth Collins. The $250 scholarship is for tuition, books and fees.
Collins of Dundee is a 2017 graduate of Summerfield High School. He is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Collins is currently vice president of MCCC’s Student Council, president of Student Ambassadors Club, is a member of MCCC’s Community Service Club, Student Nurses Association and a counselor for Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead). He also volunteers for GodWorks. Collins is the son of Beth and Tom Collins.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be an active member of the MCCC Student Government and remain active during the term of the scholarship, and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
