MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Selma Rankins Memorial Scholarship to Isabelle Joly. The $400 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Joly of Temperance is a 2019 graduate of Bedford High School. She is pursuing an associate degree at MCCC then continuing her education to get her degree in speech pathology. Joy has volunteered her time as a cheer coach and gymnastic teacher. Isabelle is the daughter of Bonnie and Joseph Joly.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a career in education, demonstrate financial need, a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, a United States citizen and a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan, high school. Preference may be given to a Monroe High School, Monroe, Michigan student who must have and maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
