MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Saverio Costello Memorial Scholarship to Savannah Rutherford. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition and books.
Rutherford of Newport is a 2017 Jefferson High School graduate. Rutherford is pursuing an associate degree in nursing while attending MCCC. Savannah’s goal is to become a registered nurse.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be financially disadvantaged.
