MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Ruthie Merritt Memorial Scholarship to Nickolas Morse. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition.
Morse of Monroe is a 2007 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing an associate degree in either business management or accounting at MCCC and plans to continue his education with a bachelor degree in finance. He is a member of Business Network International. He is the son of Denise and the late Keith Morse, spouse to Jenna and father to Patrick.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the computer information systems or accounting program, a Monroe County, Michigan, resident, completed a minimum of 10 credit hours with a 2.5 grade point average and take a minimum of four credit hours.
