MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Rose and Dr. Richard Walker Culinary Scholarship to Eric Dines. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Dines of Monroe is a 2016 graduate of Orchard Center High School. He is studying culinary skills and management while attending MCCC. Dines is the son of John Dines and Jeanne Soleau.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Culinary Skills and Management Program, with a minimum of eight contact hours per semester. Financial need will also be considered in awarding the scholarship.
