The Foundation At MCCC Awards The Richard & Marjorie Sieb Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Richard and Marjorie Sieb Scholarship to Nicholas Janssens. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Janssens of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC. He has volunteered at St. Paul’s Church, Oaks of Righteousness Homeless Shelter, Feed My Starving Children and for the Young Life Organization. Nicholas is the son of Jay and Kellie Janssens.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, a U.S. citizen and maintain at least part-time enrollment status of six credit hours or more. In addition, the donor prefers to assist a student returning to school after a period of other activities and demonstrates financial need.
