Quartey Elected Chair Of Michigan Community College Association

Kojo Quartey MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College President, Dr. Kojo A. Quartey has been elected chair of the Michigan Community College Association.

In this capacity, he chairs the statewide meetings of all the 28 Michigan community college presidents and trustees. He was elected to this position over the summer.

Since July of 2017, he has also served as the chair of the presidents of the 28 Michigan community colleges.

He is serving concurrently as chair of both groups.

The Michigan Community College Association is a network-centric organization that provides leadership on issues affecting member colleges. It is involved in advocacy and a variety of other activities that promote the 28 Michigan community colleges.
