MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary L. and Edward P. Kehoe Scholarship to Madison McAreary. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
McAreary of Dundee is a 2018 Dundee High School graduate. She is undecided on her course of study, but has developed a strong passion for geology, political science and mathematics. McAreary is a full-time volunteer coach for the Run of Southeastern Michigan. She is the daughter of Steve and Diane McAreary.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be employed for 30 hours per week, maintain a part-time student status defined as six credit hours, and preference will be given to a student with financial need.
