MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marvin and Jean Baumann Family Scholarship to Allison Belisle. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Belisle of Dundee is a 2006 graduate of Pioneer High School, Ann Arbor, Mich. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Belisle volunteered with the Teddy Bear Clinic at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. She is the wife to Richard Belisle and the mother to Sydney, Elliott and Oona.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be pursuing a degree in an applied technology or health sciences occupational program at MCCC. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a resident of Monroe County, Mich., have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours.
