The Foundation At MCCC Awards The Kirwen And Karau Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship to Tashara Hall. The $1,300 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Hall of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. She will be studying nursing while attending MCCC. She has volunteered at her church caring for toddlers and babies and also volunteers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be planning to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, be a graduate of a high school in Monroe County, Michigan, must show high academic achievement and must maintain at least full-time enrollment status with 12 credit hours.
