MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the JoAnn Naida LPN to RN Nursing Scholarship to Katelynn Naylor and Renae Roberts. Each $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Naylor of Monroe is a 2014 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, MI. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Naylor is a co-leader for the Monroe County 4-H Horse and Pony club. She is the daughter of Pamela and Charles Naylor and spouse of Mark Cox.
Roberts of Maybee is a 1993 graduate of Monroe High School. She is pursuing a nursing degree while attending MCCC. She is the daughter of Paul Gasper and Nancy Brant, wife to Anthony and mother to Ryan and Bryan.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second year nursing student enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program, a Monroe County resident and have a 3.3 GPA or higher.
