MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College will host an informational meeting August 29 on its May 2020 Study Abroad Program trip to London and Paris, which is open to MCCC students and community members who are interested in a career in health care.
The meeting will be held at 2:15 p.m. in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building, Room 105.
During the trip, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the United Kingdom’s health system, as well as learn its history and make cross-cultural connections with the U.S. system.
This program will be an incredibly valuable experience that will help current students and community members interested in health care fields prepare for their academic and professional careers, said Denise Robinson, associate professor of nursing and coordinator of the trip.
