The Foundation At MCCC Awards The Gwendolyn M. Jacob Memorial Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Gwendolyn M. Jacob Memorial Scholarship to Alexander Miller. The scholarship of $950 is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Miller of Newport is a 2018 Monroe High School graduate. He is studying mechanical engineering while attending MCCC. Miller has volunteered with the 501st Star Wars costuming group, Monroe Pop Fest and Area 34 Special Olympics. Alexander is the son of Rob and Rhonda Miller.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from Monroe High School, be enrolled in a transfer curriculum at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or above and maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours.
