MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Gerald L. Howe Scholarship to Ashlyn Neal. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Neal of Carleton is a 2019 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. While in high school, Neal participated in the Interact Club. She is the daughter of Arthur Wayne and Mary Neal.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health- related curriculum and must maintain full-time enrollment status. Additionally, a student must demonstrate community/school involvement and submit a letter of interest outlining their educational and career goals.
