MONROE, Mich.—The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Chad L. Stoner Medical Research Scholarship to Erin Maier. The $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Maier of Maybee is a 2018 graduate of Dundee High School. She studying nursing at MCCC. Maier is a member of the Student Nurses Association at MCCC. Erin is the daughter of Josh and Michelle Maier.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.2 and submit a one-page essay outlining the reason for his or her interest in medical research and ultimate career goals. To maintain the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and have a 3.0 GPA.
