MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Brian Rothman Memorial Scholarship to Billy Williams. The $800 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Williams of Monroe is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing a degree in computer science while attending MCCC. Williams has been involved with Positive Peer Influence and Student Prevention Leadership team at Monroe High School. Billy is the son of Angela and Jeffery Williams.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a Monroe County Community College student, pursuing a degree in computer information systems and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to Monroe High School graduates.
