MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Jennie E. Bacarella Scholarship to Cheyanne Horney. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Horney of Monroe is a 2012 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying business management while attending MCCC. Horney is a volunteer with Enlist with Monroe Bank and Trust. She is the daughter of Thomas and Christine Horney and the mother to Lenorah Tuller.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be majoring in a business-related curriculum, maintain part-time enrollment status of six credit hours or more, and be a resident of Monroe County. In addition, the donor prefers non-traditional students and graduates of St. Mary Catholic Central High School.
