First Sessions are Tomorrow
MONROE, Mich. – The respiratory therapy program at Monroe County Community College will host a number of respiratory therapy career information sessions for the public over the next eight months.
The first sessions will be tomorrow, Oct. 17, in Room 157 or 159 of the Welch Health Education Building, which is located on the Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. The remaining sessions will be held on Nov. 15, Feb. 21, Feb. 23, April 11 and May 23.
Three Nov. 15, Feb. 21, April 11 and May 23 sessions will be offered at the following times:
- 12:30-1:45 p.m.
- 3-4:15 p.m.
- 6:30-7:45 p.m.
There will be one session on Feb. 23 from 1-2:30 p.m.
At the sessions, prospective students can learn about respiratory therapy careers, including job duties, employment outlook and classes needed to enter the program. Respiratory therapy program faculty will be available to answer questions. Prospective students can also earn a point toward admission into the program by attending.
The application deadline for entry into the program for Fall Semester 2019 is June 10.
