MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College is hosting an events series in March in honor of Women’s History Month.
Below is the schedule of events. All are free and open to the public.
Tuesday, March 13. Presentation: “#MeToo Movement Insights,” presented by Nancy Feick, Esq.; 2-3 p.m., Audrey M. Warrick Student Services and Administration Building, Room A-173b.
Wednesday, March 14. Presentation: “Status of Women in the Middle East,” presented by Dr. Almera Almusharrf, associate professor of mathematics; 2:30-3:30 p.m., Audrey M. Warrick Student Services and Administration Building, Room A-173d.
Monday, March 19. Presentation: “Women Who Rise: Our Lineage of Leadership,” presented by Robin West Smith, adjunct instructor of sociology, 2-3 p.m., Audrey M. Warrick Student Services and Administration Building, Room A-173b.
Tuesday, March 27. Film: “Women’s March,” a documentary film about democracy and human rights, 2-3 p.m., Campbell Learning Resource Center, Little Theater.
